Dead is the new alive...or is it just me?

Hi people. It's been a long time since i updated my blog.

First of all, i would like to thank those who have taken the time and resources to have dinner and drinks with me on my birthday. Thanks for the Ang Bao which really saved my life as i was going to live on bread and water soon if that didn't come. It's one of the best birthday celebration i ever had yet.

Secondly, i want to thanks those who have helped me with my application for the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) program. You know who you are and i really appreciate your help. I have to write and essay for application and found myself staring at the computer screen and scribbles on a piece of paper for 3 days! Nothing written at all. It got so frustrating that i felt like killing myself and starting banging my head against the table...but being a wimp, i stopped once i felt the pain and a throbbing headache...useless MOFO! Thanks to those literate, capable and talented friends out there who helped me in during my darkest hours...

My brain has not been working well lately (i don't think it has ever worked well to begin with...), so im sorry that i have not been snapping any funning pictures or videos or surfing any interesting sites. Even my activities were pretty mundane...the usual drinking and hanging out with friends. Hmmm... actually i did done some interesting stuff.

1) Lunarin Pre-launch party at Scarlett Hotel.
I have not been to a house party for sometime so i felt a bit uncomfortable. On top of that, its weird trying to party with the band whose music you love alot and have only seen them performing. They are really a great bunch of people and have an exquisite taste for beers and other alcoholic drinks. I would have stayed longer if not for having an prior engagment the next morning.

2) A scene in Boku's new movie called "The love story"

3) Herstory Award 2005 at Zouk
An event celebrating alternative lifestyle of the female gender. Awards were given to talented lesbians; Butches and femme, and also cross dressers; Drag king and queens. It was quite an exciting experience to see this in Singapore, however, i was amazed as i could feel that there was still a little reservation and uneasiness from the presentation of the event. A must mention is the strip dance done by the winner of the Best Butch Strip Dancer award. I have to admit that i was a little shock or lost for words when she took her top off revealing nothing but a spandex band that failed to cover her mammary gland, although she tried countless times to re-adjust it.

4) A Pizza hut TV Commercial

5) Poptart on Christmas Eve at HOME!
Excellent! Non-stop dance inducing music from DJ Maestro Adrian Wee, Aida and the gang. There wasn't even a chance to go buy more drinks. We were all stuck there! It was cool to see most friends being able to make it down.

I shall leave you with a pic from the Indie Sticker Night at HOME. Picture provied by Joe Ng.
